Dear Esteemed Delegates, Advisors, and Guests,
It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to RHHS Model United Nations II. What began as a bold idea just a year ago has transformed into a thriving program that continues to embody diplomacy, collaboration, and global engagement—and today marks the next chapter in that journey.
When I first set out to establish the Model United Nations program at Rocky Hill High School during my freshman year, the future was filled with uncertainty. Building something new required determination, vision, and unwavering belief. Thanks to the incredible support of our advisors, administration, and student leadership, RHHS MUN has grown from a hopeful initiative into a respected conference that brings together passionate young minds from across the state.
RHHS MUN II is more than just a continuation—it is a testament to what this community has built together. Throughout the day, you will step into the role of diplomats, tackle complex global challenges, and work toward innovative and collaborative solutions. I encourage you to approach every committee session with curiosity, empathy, and the confidence to voice your ideas.
As you debate, negotiate, and build resolutions, remember that the skills you strengthen today—critical thinking, public speaking, problem-solving, and cooperation—extend far beyond this conference. They are the skills of future leaders who will go on to shape our world.
Thank you for joining us for the second year of RHHS MUN. I hope this conference inspires you, challenges you, and equips you to make meaningful change. Let’s make RHHS MUN II a day to remember.
Best Regards,
Idhaant Bhosle
Secretary-General, RHHS MUN II
